Much has happened since Farplas was founded in 1968: the spare parts sales company started as a family business and in six years, manufacturing was included in the operations. Today, Yunus Büyükkuşoğlu, one of the two founders, looks back and acknowledges that, in the success story of Farplas, the role of coincidence is next to nothing. “It has been a continuous challenge between my dreams and realistic business goals. Being able to venture beyond imagination...

We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2018. I can't believe how fast 50 years went by. If, in my very young days, you had asked me whether I had any dreams of having one of the biggest and most credible companies someday, selling automotive spare parts, I would’ve said ''Yes!''. You see, I’ve always tried to live up to my visions and goals. My lifelong goal has been to achieve my dreams which I constantly upgrade.

In time, I managed to bring together people who would share my dreams and my goals with the same passion that I felt. I was able to delegate responsibility and authority to those people, a culture they adopted to pass on to next generations. We shared power, happiness, and success, and together created a company with a philosophy of sharing and entrepreneurship. We, as a team, achieved a tremendous success, realizing a mutual dream for many Turkish companies.

Fark Holding is one of the few companies that have managed to merge corporate philosophy with the spirit of a family business. With its 50-year experience, investor spirit, global understanding and customer-oriented, “people come first” approach, it continues to hold its much deserved leading position in the industry. Our objective is to continue the vision created by all of us; “being the game-changer company”, keeping our motivation alive and adding technology, innovation, and digitalization to the qualities we already have. I have full confidence in the Fark Labs family in this task.

My aim has always been to create a culture grateful to its foundations and country, thus, actively continues creating added value for its employees and shareholders, with dignity and humanity as its core values. I am honored to see that this culture continues to exist. It has always been and will always be my most important goal to fulfill my social responsibility to my country by doing projects not only in my field of work but also in the areas of charity, education, and especially art. I have faith that my company and my children will always adhere to my perception of creating value.

Art in general, painting and sculpture, in particular, is a distinctive part of Farplas company culture. Büyükkuşoğlu family is a long-term art collector; the collection is focusing on Turkish art starting from the mid 19th century and continuing with modern Turkish masters. It is exhibited in the rooms and hallways of the company for our employees’ pleasure.
